Jalen Duren - Won't play Saturday Duren has been ruled out for Saturday's contest against the Raptors due to bilateral ankle soreness.
Impact Duren tweaked his ankle before the All-Star break, but the issue hasn't caused him to miss time until now. In his absence, James Wiseman figures to get his first start as a Piston, while Isaiah Livers and Marvin Bagley (hand) could see sizable roles off the bench. Duren's next chance to suit up will come Monday in Charlotte.

Bojan Bogdanovic - Lackluster performance in defeat Bogdanovic registered seven points (3-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt), three rebounds and four assists over 29 minutes during Thursday's 108-106 loss to the Magic.
Impact Bogdanovic was dominant heading into the All-Star break with at least 28 points in his last three appearances, but he was much less effective during Detroit's first game after the layoff. However, Thursday's performance seemed to simply be an off night for the 33-year-old, who has scored in double figures in all but three of his appearances this season. He'll have a chance to bounce back Saturday against Toronto.

Alec Burks - Comes off bench for 16 points Burks chipped in 16 points (4-4 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals in 19 minutes during Thursday's 108-106 loss to the Magic.
Impact Burks came off the bench and knocked down all four of his field-goal attempts on the night -- all of which came from three-point range -- while also posting five boards and three assists. He finished second on the team with 16 points despite playing only 19 minutes and has now scored over 15 points in two of his last three games. He's also knocked down four threes twice over that stretch.

Jaden Ivey - Leads contest with 25 points Ivey racked up 25 points (9-13 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 2-4 FT), two rebounds, four assists and one block over 31 minutes during Thursday's 108-106 loss to the Magic.
Impact Ivey had a terrific night shooting the ball, knocking down four of five field-goal attempts for 13 points in the first half before going 5-of-8 over the final two quarters to finish with a game-high 25 points. The point guard also connected on a season-high five three-pointers in the contest off just seven attempts, and he's now shooting 47.4 percent from beyond the arc in February. It was Ivey's ninth time this season breaking the 20-point mark, and he's now scored at least 17 in four straight.

R.J. Hampton - Plans to sign with Detroit Hampton plans to sign with the Pistons after clearing waivers Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Impact Hampton and the Magic parted ways during the All-Star break, and the third-year guard has quickly found a new home. He was selected by the Nuggets in the first round of the 2020 NBA Draft before getting dealt to Orlando later that season. He had a solid campaign for the Magic in 2021-22, posting 7.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 21.9 minutes across 64 appearances (14 starts), but he's failed to build on that production. In Detroit, he'll compete for a rotational role with a mix of veterans and young talent, though the unit lacks star power with Cade Cunningham (lower leg) out.
