Cory Joseph - Could sit Tuesday
Joseph is listed as questionable for Tuesday's matchup against the Wizards due to a non-COVID-19-related illness.
Impact
While the Pistons were shorthanded in Monday's win over the Pacers, Joseph received 32 minutes and turned in a season-high 22 points (8-14 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT) to go with five rebounds, five assists and one steal. Whether he's dealing with a legitimate illness or is a candidate to rest for the second leg of the back-to-back set is uncertain, but even if Joseph is cleared ahead of Tuesday's 7 p.m. ET opening tip, he could be in line for a smaller workload than he received Monday. If Joseph is out, he will join a lengthy list of players on the sideline, so there could be ample opportunities for R.J. Hampton and Rodney McGruder to carve out larger roles out of the backcourt.

Isaiah Livers - Out Tuesday
Livers is out for Tuesday's matchup against the Wizards due to right hip soreness.
Impact
Livers had a poor showing Monday against the Pacers and left early due to the hip issue, which will prevent him from playing Tuesday. Detroit's injury report is excessive, and Livers' added absence will likely result in even more minutes for Rodney McGruder, Eugene Omoruyi and Jared Rhoden.

Bojan Bogdanovic - Remains out
Bogdanovic (Achilles) has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup against Washington.
Impact
Bogdanovic hasn't played since March 1 due to Achilles tendinitis. The Pistons are considering shutting him down for the remainder of the campaign, but until that happens, we'll continue to update his status game by game. The veteran forward's next chance to suit up will come Thursday against Denver.

Jaden Ivey - Out Tuesday
Ivey (COVID-19 protocols) is out for Tuesday's matchup against the Wizards.
Impact
The rookie guard will miss a third straight game while in health and safety protocols. With Cory Joseph (illness) questionable and Alec Burks (foot) out in the backcourt, more minutes should be available for R.J. Hampton and Rodney McGruder.

Alec Burks - Out again Tuesday
Burks (foot) has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup against the Wizards.
Impact
Burks is slated to miss a fifth straight game due to left foot soreness. It's unclear when he'll be able to suit up again, but his next chance to do so will arrive Thursday against Denver.

R.J. Hampton - Productive off bench Monday
Hampton finished with 15 points (5-8 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and three assists across 24 minutes during Monday's 117-97 win over the Pacers.
Impact
With Jaden Ivey (COVID-19 protocols) and Alec Burks (foot) both unavailable, Hampton tied his season high in scoring while setting a new season high in boards. The third-year guard has seen a bigger workload off the bench over the last six games, averaging 19.3 minutes and contributing 10.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.7 threes and 0.8 steals while shooting an impressive 52.6 percent (10-for-19) from beyond the arc. The Pistons have their sights set on securing the best possible draft lottery odds and landing Victor Wembanyama, and if they begin shutting down veterans like Bojan Bogdanovic (Achilles), players like Hampton stand to benefit over the final weeks.

Cory Joseph - Leading scorer from second unit
Joseph recorded a season-high 22 points (8-14 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT) with five rebounds, five assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Monday's 117-97 win over the Pacers.
Impact
The veteran guard ended up leading the Pistons in scoring on a night in which seven different Detroit players scored in double digits, and three of them delivered double-doubles. Joseph has reached double digits himself in five straight contests, and with Jaden Ivey (COVID-19 protocols) and Alec Burks (foot) facing uncertain return dates, the 31-year-old could have some DFS appeal Tuesday against the Wizards.

Jalen Duren - Double-double off bench Monday
Duren had 12 points (6-11 FG), 11 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal over 24 minutes off the bench during Monday's 117-97 victory over the Pacers.
Impact
Both Duren and James Wiseman delivered double-doubles Monday, so the Pistons' timeshare at center appears to be working for head coach Dwane Casey. Duren has 14 double-doubles in 55 games on the season, and since returning from an ankle injury, he appears comfortable coming off the bench, averaging 12.0 points, 10.3 boards, 2.0 assists and 1.7 blocks over the last three games in 21.7 minutes a night.

Rodney McGruder - Pops for season-high 18 in win
McGruder ended with 18 points (7-14 FG, 4-5 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 32 minutes during Monday's 117-97 victory over the Pacers.
Impact
It's the veteran wing's best scoring effort of the season, and it helped the Pistons win their first game in over a month. McGruder has started four straight games and six of the last eight for an injury-ravaged Detroit roster, but he's only scored in double digits in the last two. If Bojan Bogdanovic (Achilles) gets shut down for the remainder of the season, however, McGruder could keep his spot in the starting five the rest of the way.

Killian Hayes - Double-double against Indiana
Hayes ended with 10 points (4-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 assists, two steals and one rebound in 29 minutes during Monday's 117-97 win over the Pacers.
Impact
The Pistons won for the first time in over a month, and Hayes' second straight double-double was a big part of the successful formula. The third-year point guard has started 11 of Detroit's last 14 games, but his production has been erratic -- he's averaging just 8.0 points, 7.3 assists, 2.9 boards and 1.6 steals while shooting a woeful 30 percent from the floor and 14 percent (6-for-43) from three-point range. Until Hayes' shot improves, his fantasy ceiling will be capped, but he remains much more palatable in points leagues or in category leagues in which managers are punting field-goal percentage.

James Wiseman - Double-double in Monday's win
Wiseman totaled 18 points (8-15 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 14 rebounds, three blocks and one assist over 24 minutes during Monday's 117-97 win over the Pacers.
Impact
The former Warrior led the Pistons in rebounding while supplying one of the team's three double-doubles as Detroit won for the first time in over a month. Wiseman has started nine straight games and delivered three double-doubles over that stretch, averaging 14.0 points, 9.2 boards and 1.3 blocks while shooting 61.1 percent from the floor as he finally begins to show some of the potential that made him the second overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Eugene Omoruyi - Productive in Monday's start
Omoruyi posted 17 points (8-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, three steals and two assists across 32 minutes during Monday's 117-97 win over Indiana.
Impact
The second-year forward got his first start since Jan. 10 and posted his biggest scoring performance since Nov. 11, when he erupted for 22 points against the Raptors. Omoruyi has seen at least 23 minutes in four straight contests as the Pistons' frontcourt deals with multiple injuries, averaging a solid 13.0 points, 4.5 boards, 1.3 steals, 1.0 assists and 1.0 threes over that stretch, and with neither Marvin Bagley (ankle) nor Isaiah Stewart (shoulder) expected to return in the next couple games, the 26-year-old should continue to see elevated usage.

Eugene Omoruyi - Starting Monday
Omoruyi is starting Monday's game against Indiana, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Omoruyi topped 20 minutes of playing time off the bench in his last three appearances and averaged 11.7 points and 4.0 rebounds during that time. He'll make his third start of the season with Marvin Bagley (ankle) sidelined Monday. Coach Dwane Casey said Sunday that he expects Bagley to miss the "next few games," so it's possible Omoruyi has a multi-game stint in the starting lineup.

Eugene Omoruyi - Signs second 10-day contract
The Pistons signed Omoruyi to a second 10-day contract Monday, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Omoruyi has appeared in five consecutive games, and with the Pistons extremely shorthanded, he's played at least 20 minutes in each of Detroit's last three contests, averaging 11.7 points and 4.0 rebounds in 25.3 minutes during that stretch. The undrafted forward out of Oregon should continue to garner a solid role in the Pistons' frontcourt as long as Marvin Bagley (ankle) and Isaiah Stewart (shoulder) remain sidelined.
