Retreats to bench Saturday Braun will return to a bench role Saturday versus the 76ers.

Impact Braun made a spot start -- just his second of the year -- in the second game of a back-to-back set Wednesday versus Milwaukee as most of the team's regular starters rested. Braun will move back to the bench with the normal crew back in action Saturday and should see his minutes scaled back.

Moves to starting lineup Wednesday Braun is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Bucks.

Impact The Nuggets are set to rest almost their entire regular starting lineup, and this will lead to more minutes for Braun, who will start in the backcourt alongside Bruce Brown. It will be the second start of the season for the former Kansas product.

Scores 10 in win Braun recorded 10 points (4-5 FG, 1-2 FT, 1-1 3PT), two rebounds, two assists and one block across 15 minutes in Friday's 134-111 victory over the Pacers.

Impact It is just the third time Braun has recorded double-digit points this season. He has played sparingly recently, but he saw 15 minutes Friday, as the Nuggets were in cruise control for most of the game. It will take an injury to somebody ahead of him in the rotation to start seeing more consistent minutes.

Nine points in 24 minutes Braun amassed nine points (4-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and one block in 24 minutes during Wednesday's 127-126 loss to Sacramento.

Impact Braun saw some additional playing time in the loss but failed to make the most of his opportunity. With Bruce Brown (ankle) sidelined, Braun may have a small window in which he is called upon to do a little more on both ends of the floor. While he is a nice fit for the Nuggets, his on-court value does not translate well when it comes to fantasy, at least at this point in his young career.

Impact Braun moved into the starting lineup Tuesday, replacing Jamal Murray, who was out with a knee injury. While Braun didn't blow anyone away with his performance, he was solid enough for those who did manage to stream him in. He isn't really on the radar in standard formats but has shown glimpses of what he might be able to do long-term. He could be edging ahead of certain players in the rotation, meaning deeper league managers should at least keep an eye on the rookie moving forward.

Re-enters rotation Tuesday Braun finished with five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and one rebound in 16 minutes in Tuesday's 116-115 loss to the Mavericks.

Impact After Braun and Bones Hyland combined to play just seven minutes in the Nuggets' previous game Sunday against the Pelicans, the two ended up essentially absorbing the rotation spot of Ish Smith, who didn't leave the bench in a coach's decision. According to Harrison Wind of TheDNVR.com, head coach Michael Malone said after Tuesday's contest that he's "got to find minutes for Christian," but that may prove more difficult once Michael Porter (heel) is ultimately cleared to play. In the short term, however, Braun looks as though he could serve as one of the Nuggets' top backups on the wing.
