Impact Bell suffered a blown engine in practice and did not make a qualifying attempt. He will be joined in the back by a number of other very fast cars that were forced to drop to the rear for one reason or another. Bell is coming off a strong runner-up finish at Richmond last week and ran well at the last road course a few weeks ago in Indy.

Impact Bell started deep in the field but would methodically work his way forward. He'd crack the Top 10 by stage 3 and actually be one of the fastest cars on the track in the closing laps. Bell would pick his way by Chris Buescher to climb into second-place and then set his sights on leader, Kevin Harvick. Bell would fall just short at the checkered flag to earn the impressive runner-up finish. It was his seventh Top 5 of the season.
