Impact Bortoleto was putting together an impressive F1 debut, as his Kick Sauber picked up some additional pace since testing. He advanced into Q2 after out-pacing teammate Nico Hulkenberg by six one-hundredths of a second. Bortoleto also managed to navigate tricky track conditions until the latter stages of the race when he hit the curb and spun into the wall to end his day. He isn't likely to contend for points in more traditional race weekends, but Bortoleto had a positive debut weekend in F1 overall.
