Notches seventh save May allowed a hit and struck out one in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Red Sox.

Impact May has collected all seven of his saves this year over his last 13 appearances. He's given up six runs (five earned), eight hits and 10 walks in that span, but he's been moderately effective at limiting the damage. The veteran reliever is now at a 5.11 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 20:20 K:BB through 24.2 innings this season.

Secures sixth save May picked up the save in Tuesday's 1-0 victory over Detroit. He allowed no hits and one walk while striking out one over a scoreless inning.

Impact Oakland broke a scoreless tie in the top of the 10th inning, and May worked around the designated runner and a two-out walk in the bottom of the frame for his sixth save of the year. The right-hander gave up eight earned runs in his first eight outings of the season before he landed on the injured list in mid-April for anxiety issues, but since rejoining the active roster May 23 he has a 2.70 ERA with six saves in 17 appearances.

Impact May has now reached a new single-season career-high in saves. However, his inflated 1.79 WHIP would also be the highest of his career if the season ended today, rendering him untrustworthy in fantasy.

Impact The game seemed like it was headed for extra innings until Shea Langeliers launched a solo shot off Toronto closer Jordan Romano in the top of the ninth, setting the stage for May to wrap things up. The veteran reliever has been tagged for earned runs only once in nine appearances in June while going 4-for-4 on save chances, but his 3.68 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 6:7 K:BB through 7.1 innings on the month suggest his hold on the closer role in Oakland is tenuous at best.

Impact May got a little help when Randy Arozarena was caught stealing for the second out, and he set down Jose Siri on three strikes to finish the save.
