Traded to Athletics La Stella was traded from the Angels to the Athletics in exchange for Franklin Barreto on Friday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

Impact La Stella has been effective to begin the season with a .371 OBP, four home runs and 14 RBI over 28 games. While he was relegated to playing mainly at first base for the Angels recently, he could take over as Oakland's primary second baseman against right-handed pitching.
