Impact Hernandez logged his first multi-hit effort since Sept. 7, and this was also his first game with multiple walks since July 7. The outfielder is hitting .268 (19-for-71) in September, just a tad better than his .265 mark for the year. He's added a .760 OPS, 25 home runs, 90 RBI, 67 runs scored and seven stolen bases through 150 games.

Impact Castillo earned his fifth quality start in his last six outings with a solid performance Tuesday. It took the Athletics until the seventh inning to get on the board, and the Mariners' lead was never in any real danger. Castillo now has a 3.06 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 207:50 K:BB through 188.1 innings through 31 starts this season. He's lined up for a critical home start versus the Astros early next week as the Mariners continue to battle for the AL West lead.

Impact Caballero was stuck in a brutal slump prior to Monday -- he'd gone 0-for-18 over his last 13 contests, which had effectively removed him from consistent playing time. The homer was just his fourth of the season and his first since June 28. The infielder is at a .225/.351/.329 slash line with 26 RBI, 36 runs scored and 26 steals through 271 plate appearances. Most of his at-bats for the remainder of the year will likely be against left-handed pitchers, though he can also provide speed off the bench.

Impact While Woo's four walks were a season high, he was able to turn in his third scoreless outing in his last four starts. Two of those efforts have been against Oakland, so there is somewhat of a caveat for the quality of the opponent, but it's still encouraging to see the rookie find a groove late in the year. Woo is at a 3.90 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 82:26 K:BB through 80.2 innings over 16 starts. He is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Rangers this weekend.
