Christian Koss - Logs two RBI in win Koss went 2-for-4 with two RBI, a run scored and a double in Monday's 11-5 win over the Diamondbacks.
Impact Koss did most of his damage in the sixth inning, hitting a two-run double to right field before coming around to score. The 27-year-old infielder drew the start at second base after going four consecutive games without a plate appearance, delivering his 10th multi-hit performance of the season. He's slashing .258/.299/.361 with 20 RBI, 19 runs scored, three home runs and three stolen bases across 170 plate appearances in 67 games during the 2025 campaign.

Jerar Encarnación - Begins rehab assignment Encarnacion (hamstring) began his rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento on Friday, going 0-for-4 as the designated hitter in a 2-1 extra-inning loss to Las Vegas.
Impact Encarnacion was placed on the 10-day injured list Aug. 8 (retroactive to Aug. 7) due to a strained right hamstring, though he is seemingly nearing a return to the big leagues. The 27-year-old has appeared in two rehab games with Sacramento this month, batting 0-for-7 over that span. He has dealt with multiple injuries this season -- including a strained left oblique and a fractured left hand -- appearing in just 10 big-league outings. During that span, Encarnacion has recorded a .167/.167/.400 slash line with two home runs, a double and a stolen base across 30 plate appearances. He's expected to return to the majors before the end of the regular season.

Bo Davidson - Strong finish for Flying Squirrels Davidson is hitting .305 with four home runs, two steals and a 20.3 percent strikeout rate over his last 13 games for Double-A Richmond.
Impact A toolsy 23-year-old outfielder, Davidson comfortably handled High-A pitching to the tune of a .309/.412/.507 slash line, 10 homers and 12 steals in 72 games while being old for the level before getting promoted to Double-A on July 16. He got off to a slower start after the jump in competition, but is closing the season strong. Davidson is on track to return to Double-A next year before spending the summer at Triple-A. He is flirting with a 20/20 season, sitting at 17 homers and 19 steals in 111 total games.

Patrick Bailey - Lifts fourth homer Bailey went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a second RBI in Monday's 11-5 win over the Diamondbacks.
Impact Bailey's up to four homers on the year, with two of them coming over his last six games. He's driven in six runs in that span as well. The catcher hasn't been able to do much with the bat, compiling a .217/.273/.308 slash line with 45 RBI, 39 runs scored, 15 doubles and three triples while adding one stolen base over 118 contests this season.
SEPTEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Dominic Smith - Pops fifth homer Smith went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 11-5 win over the Diamondbacks.
Impact Smith's blast tied the game at 4-4 in the third inning. The first baseman has hit safely in his last nine games, going 13-for-37 (.351) with two homers and 11 RBI during the streak. That surge has him up to a .291/.341/.427 slash line with five long balls, 33 RBI, 26 runs scored, 12 doubles and two stolen bases over 220 plate appearances this season in a strong-side platoon role.
SEPTEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Heliot Ramos - Goes yard in Monday's win Ramos went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Monday's 11-5 win over the Diamondbacks.
Impact Ramos put the finishing touches on the Giants' five-run sixth inning with his homer. The outfielder has hit safely in nine of his last 11 games, going 16-for-48 (.333) with two homers and six RBI in that span. For the season, he's at a .266/.338/.405 slash line with 17 homers, 61 RBI, 75 runs scored and six stolen bases over 139 contests. Ramos' power is down from last year's 22-homer effort over 121 games, but the rest of his production is fairly steady in comparison.
SEPTEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Matt Chapman - Belts homer in win Chapman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Monday's 11-5 win over the Diamondbacks.
Impact Chapman has gone 9-for-18 with three homers and six RBI over his last five games since he was ejected from last Tuesday's game in Colorado. He still has an active appeal for a one-game suspension from that contest, though it's possible he could drop the appeal to sit out a game when he's next due for rest. The third baseman is up to 21 homers, 56 RBI, 66 runs scored, nine stolen bases and a .241/.351/.457 slash line through 111 games this season.
SEPTEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Jung Hoo Lee - Homers in three-hit game Lee went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Monday's 11-5 win over the Diamondbacks.
Impact Lee had the first of the Giants' five homers in this game, going deep in the second inning. He's continued to have a hot bat in September, logging four multi-hit efforts over six games this month, though the homer was his first since Aug. 19 versus the Padres. The outfielder is up to a .271/.332/.420 slash line with eight long balls, 51 RBI, 68 runs scored, 30 doubles, 11 triples and 10 stolen bases over 135 contests.

Logan Webb - Secures 14th win Webb (14-9) allowed four runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out seven over six innings to earn the win over the Diamondbacks on Monday.
Impact The Giants fell behind early after an error led to three runners eventually crossing the plate in the second inning. Webb was steady enough to overcome that, and the Giants' offense took over in the sixth to help him secure his fourth win in his last five starts. He's allowed a total of 10 runs (seven earned) with a 33:6 K:BB across 31 innings in that span. Overall, Webb has a 3.12 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and a career-high 201 strikeouts through 184.2 innings over 30 starts this season. The 28-year-old's next start is projected to be at home versus the Dodgers this weekend as he attempts to tie his career high of 15 wins.

Carson Whisenhunt - Throwing bullpen session Monday Whisenhunt (back) will throw a bullpen session Monday, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Impact It appears to be the first time Whisenhunt has thrown from the bump since he landed on the 15-day injured list at the end of August with a back strain. Whisenhunt is eligible for activation this weekend, and it's possible he'll return then if the Giants don't think he needs a rehab start.
SEPTEMBER 8 • ROTOWIRE
Nate Furman - Makes season debut at Double-A Furman (shoulder) has gone 4-for-12 with three walks, two RBI and a run scored in four games for Double-A Richmond since being reinstated from the 60-day injured list Tuesday.
Impact Furman reached the Double-A level as a member of the Guardians organization last summer before landing on the IL in late June with a shoulder strain and then getting traded to the Giants just under a couple months later. He didn't make his debut with the Giants organization until shortly after the All-Star break this season, when he began a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League. He eventually shifted his assignment to Single-A San Jose and then High-A Eugene, slashing a collective .363/.496/.648 over 27 games with the three affiliates before finally getting cleared to debut for the Double-A club this past week.

Willy Adames - Tallies ninth stolen base in loss Adames went 0-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Cardinals.
Impact Adames failed to record a hit but reached base on two free passes and stole second in the fourth inning. The shortstop has struggled following a hot end to August, going hitless in three of his last five outings. Overall, he's slashing .228/.317/.425 with 86 runs scored, 78 RBI, 27 long balls and nine stolen bases across 603 plate appearances in 143 games this season.
SEPTEMBER 8 • ROTOWIRE
Rafael Devers - Logs RBI in loss Devers went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Cardinals.
Impact Devers lined an RBI single to center field in the sixth inning before coming around to score the team's final run. The 28-year-old has safely reached base in 12 consecutive games, batting .375 with six home runs and a 7:13 BB:K across 55 plate appearances during that span. Overall, he's slashing .263/.380/.492 with 100 RBI, 87 runs scored, 31 long balls and one stolen base in 645 plate appearances over 144 games between San Francisco and Boston.
