Chris Devenski - Removed from Triple-A IL Devenski (head) was activated from the 7-day injured list by Triple-A Indianapolis on Friday, Anthony Murphy of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Impact Devenski opened the season on the 7-day IL due to a head injury that he sustained in mid-March, when he took a batted ball to the side of his head. He pitched in two rehab games for Single-A Bradenton and has progressed enough in his recovery to pitch in Triple-A. Devenski spent the majority of 2025 in the minors but did appear in 13 regular-season games with the Mets, posting a 2.16 ERA and 0.90 WHIP across 16.2 innings.

Shota Imanaga - Brilliant outing goes to waste Imanaga came away with a no-decision Friday as the Cubs fell 2-0 to the Pirates, striking out nine and walking one over six scoreless, no-hit innings.
Impact The southpaw was dominant, firing 68 strikes on 100 pitches while generating 30 called or swinging strikes, but Chicago's offense couldn't push any runs across against Carmen Mlodzinski. Once Imanaga left the mound, Pittsburgh immediately struck for two runs in the top of the seventh. Imanaga will take a 2.81 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 20:4 K:BB through 16 innings into his next outing, which is set to come on the road next week in Philadelphia.

Bryan Reynolds - Supplies only offense in win Reynolds went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 2-0 win over the Cubs.
Impact The Pirates were no-hit by Shota Imanaga through six innings, but their bats woke up as soon as the southpaw left the mound. Ryan O'Hearn led off the seventh with a single before Reynolds jumped on a first-pitch curveball from Caleb Thielbar and launched it into the left-field bleachers. It was Reynolds' third homer of the season in 13 games to go along with a .245/.345/.449 slash line, seven RBI and 11 runs.

Dennis Santana - Notches first save of season Santana struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his first save of the season in a 2-0 win over the Cubs.
Impact The right-hander got Dansby Swanson and Michael Busch to chase sliders for third strikes as Santana converted his first save chance of the year. Gregory Soto worked the eighth and was less efficient, walking two batters without striking anyone out, and the closer battle for Pittsburgh seems to be tipping back in Santana's favor. He sports a 0.00 ERA through seven innings with two wins, two holds and a 6:2 K:BB.
