Andrew Vaughn - Going to Brewers in Civale trade The Brewers have acquired Vaughn from the White Sox in exchange for Aaron Civale, Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Vaughn was demoted to Triple-A Charlotte last month after hitting only .189/.218/.314 with five home runs across 193 plate appearances. The former No. 3 overall pick has been a disappointment at the big-league level, slashing .248/.303/.407 over parts of five seasons. Vaughn is behind Rhys Hoskins at first base and Christian Yelich at designated hitter in Milwaukee, so he could go to Triple-A Nashville for a while in hopes of finding his swing. The 27-year-old is making $5.85 million in 2025 and has another year of team control next season.

Aaron Ashby - Credited with first save Thursday Ashby gave up three hits and no walks in three scoreless innings of relief, earning the save in Thursday's 6-0 win over the Cardinals.
Impact It was the first save of the season for Ashby, who fired at least three innings for the first time in 2025. The 27-year-old left-hander is currently being deployed as a multi-inning reliever, but he's mostly worked in lower-leverage spots since coming off the injured list. Through nine innings on the season, Ashby has zero holds but has yet to give up a run while notching a 0.78 WHIP and 9:1 K:BB.
