Kade Bragg - Dealt to Marlins The Marlins acquired Bragg from the Twins on Friday in exchange for Eric Wagaman.

Impact Bragg is a lefty reliever who held a 2.94 ERA and 82:31 K:BB over 67.1 innings covering three levels in the Twins system in 2025. The 24-year-old finished the year at Double-A Wichita and could return to the Double-A level to start the 2026 campaign.

Eric Wagaman - Loses 40-man roster spot Wagaman was designated for assignment by the Marlins on Monday, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.

Impact Wagaman is the roster casualty following the addition of Esteury Ruiz from the Dodgers. Wagaman appeared in 140 games a season ago for the Marlins, so he should still have an opportunity to compete for a spot on the Opening Day roster.

Impact Ruiz got into 19 games with the Dodgers in 2025, going 4-for-21 with one home run and four stolen bases. The 26-year-old led the American League with 67 steals in 2023, but he's managed just a .241/.296/.343 batting line over parts of four major-league seasons and is regarded as a poor defensive outfielder. Ruiz has a better chance to make the Marlins' Opening Day roster than he would have the Dodgers', but he does have minor-league options remaining.
