Notches sixth quality start
Liberatore took a no-decision in Sunday's 2-1 loss at Kansas City, allowing one run on six hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out five.
Impact
The St. Louis southpaw continued his recent excellent run of performance, as he has now allowed two or fewer runs over his last seven outings. During that stretch, Liberatore has pitched to a 2.03 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 36:7 K:BB across 40 innings. The 25-year-old limited damage once again Sunday, with the only blemish on his line coming via a Dairon Blanco RBI-double in the fourth. Liberatore currently lines up to make his next start at home against Arizona next weekend.

Falls short of quality start
Liberatore did not factor in the decision during Monday's win over Philadelphia. He allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk over 5.1 innings while striking out four.
Impact
Liberatore kept the Phillies scoreless until Edmundo Sosa's RBI infield single in the fourth inning. Liberatore gave up another run in the sixth inning and was lifted before he could qualify for a quality start. He threw 56 of 80 pitches for strikes and generated 11 whiffs. Only one swinging strike came via the fastball, but his average velo was slightly up from 94.5 mph to 95 mph. Liberatore owns a solid 3.11 ERA with a 42:7 K:BB through 46.1 innings this season. He's projected for a start in Kansas City this weekend.

Season-high eight strikeouts in win
Liberatore (3-3) picked up the win Tuesday against the Pirates after allowing one run on three hits and three walks in seven innings. He struck out eight.
Impact
During what's already been a promising start to the year for Liberatore, he delivered perhaps his finest performance of the campaign so far. The 2018 first-rounder set season highs in innings and punchouts, generating 17 whiffs in the process. Although his three walks did mark a season worst, Liberatore threw at least six frames and surrendered two runs or fewer for the fourth time in his past five outings. The left-hander owns an outstanding 3.07 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 38:6 K:BB over 41 innings in 2025, but he's in line for a tough test in his next scheduled appearance against the Phillies next week.

Start shortened by rain delay
Liberatore (2-3) was charged with the loss Thursday in Cincinnati after giving up two runs on two hits and a walk across three innings. He struck out two.
Impact
The left-hander surrendered a two-run homer to Jose Trevino during the second inning but didn't get a chance to work much deeper into Thursday's contest due to a lengthy rain delay. The long ball is just the second allowed this season by Liberatore, and he's also issued only three walks through six starts. He's been a strong rotation piece for St. Louis early in 2025 and has a 3.44 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 30 strikeouts over 34 innings.

Back in the win column
Liberatore (2-2) earned the win against the Brewers on Friday, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits while striking out four across six innings. He did not issue a walk.
Impact
Liberatore got through the first five innings with ease, allowing just two base runners over that span. His shutout efforts were dashed in the sixth inning on a Christian Yelich RBI single, and Liberatore was tagged for a second run after being lifted in the seventh frame. It was Liberatore's third-straight quality start and fourth of the season, and his 0.97 WHIP through 31.0 innings is ninth-best in the National League among qualified starters. He's tentatively slated to start next week on the road against the Reds.
