First rehab start coming Tuesday Bradish (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Bowie on Tuesday.

Impact It had been reported that Bradish was set to start a rehab assignment this week, and now the exact day and location has been revealed. The right-hander's rehab from a partial UCL tear has come along as well as could be expected, but it's basically the start of spring training for him, so he could need most, if not all, of his 30-day rehab window before rejoining the Orioles' rotation.

Impact Bradish seemed to be the clear choice for the Orioles following a breakout 2023 campaign which saw him post a 2.83 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 168:44 K:BB over 168.2 innings covering 30 starts. That includes a 2.34 second-half ERA and a 16-inning scoreless streak to end his regular season. The Rangers have not yet announced a Game 1 starter, but it's expected to be Dane Dunning. Grayson Rodriguez will get the ball in Game 2 for the O's.

Impact Bradish saved his longest outing of the campaign for what is likely to be the righty's final start of the 2023 regular season, shutting out the Nationals for eight innings thanks in large part to the 14 ground ball outs he induced. In 10 starts since the beginning of August, the 27-year-old has gone 6-1 with a 2.15 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 68:16 K:BB across 62.2 innings. Bradish took a big step forward in his sophomore season, improving upon every major pitching category and finishing with a 12-7 record, 2.86 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, 163:43 K:BB and a 49.3 percent ground ball rate, currently the eighth-highest in the MLB among qualified starters.
