INJURIES

Labors in loss Bradish (7-13) took the loss against the Red Sox on Sunday, allowing three unearned runs on two hits and four walks with three strikeouts over four innings.
Impact Bradish was done in by a three-run homer in the third after Gunnar Henderson committed an error with two outs. He labored overall, though, needing 85 pitches to complete just four innings. It's been a tough second half for the 29-year-old, who owns a 4.63 ERA in nine outings since the All-Star break while failing to exceed five frames four times over that stretch. He'll take a 3.91 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 140:68 K:BB across 152 innings this season into a road matchup with the Blue Jays next weekend.

Allows two runs in no-decision Bradish didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Rockies. He allowed two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out four over five innings.
Impact Bradish ran into his only real trouble in the second inning, when Adael Amador opened the scoring with a two-out solo homer before Zac Veen tripled and scored on Jake McCarthy's RBI single. The right-hander kept Colorado off the board over his final three frames, including working around a double and a walk in the fourth. While Bradish didn't factor into the decision, he still delivered five solid innings, all things considered. At the very least, this was a bounce-back effort after he allowed seven runs over 4.1 innings in a no-decision against the Cardinals the last time out. Bradish should make his next start over the weekend at home against the Red Sox.

Rocked for seven runs Bradish allowed seven runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out four over 4.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Cardinals on Wednesday.
Impact Bradish was cruising until the fifth inning, when the Cardinals were able to tack on six runs, erasing an early deficit. With 12 runs allowed (10 earned) over his last 10 innings, Bradish's performance has taken a poor turn after a positive beginning to August. On the year, he has a 4.03 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 133:62 K:BB through 143 innings over 26 starts. He's lined up to make his next start in Colorado, which would be an outing to avoid for fantasy purposes.

Hangs around until sixth inning Bradish (7-12) took the loss against the Yankees on Thursday, allowing five runs (three earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking out five batters over 5.2 innings.
Impact Bradish faced the minimum over the first two frames before giving up three runs on five hits in the third. He managed to bounce back for two scoreless innings thereafter, but the righty's outing came to an end after he served up a pair of solo homers in the sixth. Bradish had a modest streak of two straight quality starts come to an end, and he suffered his third defeat over his past four outings. His 7-12 record and season-long 3.70 ERA through 25 starts are both somewhat disappointing marks, though the big positive is that Bradish has managed to stay healthy after compiling only 14 outings over the previous two campaigns due to Tommy John surgery.

Posts quality start in no-decision Bradish did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Rays, allowing two runs on seven hits and four walks with three strikeouts over six innings.
Impact Bradish threw just 52 of 93 pitches for strikes and allowed plenty of traffic on the basepaths, but he battled through six frames and departed in line for a victory his bullpen couldn't secure. The 29-year-old has now delivered three quality starts in five outings since the All-Star break, with one of those appearances shortened by a rain delay. He'll carry a 3.65 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 124:58 K:BB across 133 innings this season into a home matchup with the Yankees next week.

Tough-luck loss Saturday Bradish (7-11) took the loss against the Rangers on Saturday, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and no walks in six innings. He struck out four.
Impact A pair of throwing errors, one by Bradish himself and then Gunnar Henderson, helped Texas plate two runs in a sloppy second inning by Baltimore's defense. The right-hander's swing-and-miss stuff has waned a bit recently, as he's registered five strikeouts or fewer in seven consecutive starts after fanning at least nine in his prior two outings to that stretch. Bradish will take a 3.69 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 121:54 K:BB over 127 innings into his next scheduled appearance against the Rays in pitcher-friendly Tampa Bay.

Falls to Phillies Bradish (7-10) took the loss Sunday in a rain-shortened outing against the Phillies, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks over three innings. He struck out three.
Impact Both runs charged to Bradish came on Bryan De La Cruz's homer in the third inning, the first long ball he's given up since the All-Star break, which proved enough to leave him with the loss in an 8-0, rain-shortened defeat. Bradish's ERA now sits at 3.79 through 22 starts (121 innings) this season with a 1.36 WHIP and 117:54 K:BB. He's currently in line for a road matchup with the Rangers his next time out.

No-decision against Detroit Bradish did not factor into Monday's decision against the Tigers, when he allowed five runs on 10 hits and one walk while striking out four across 4.2 innings.
Impact Bradish limited the Tigers to one run through three innings before giving up two runs in both the fourth and fifth frames, and he was lifted one out shy from being in line for the decision. The five earned runs he allowed matched a season high that he set three times earlier in the season, and the veteran right-hander now has a 3.74 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 114:52 K:BB across 118 innings this season. Bradish's next start is lined up for this weekend at home against the Phillies.
