Strikes out eight Wednesday Berrios allowed three runs on three hits and struck out eight in seven innings in a no-decision versus the Orioles on Wednesday.
Impact Berrios turned in his third straight quality start, but Yimi Garcia couldn't maintain the lead for the Blue Jays in the eighth inning. Two of the hits Berrios allowed were home runs -- a two-run blast from Adley Rutschman and a solo shot by Ryan Mountcastle. Despite the long balls, it was a solid showing for Berrios, who trimmed his ERA to 4.65 with a 1.24 WHIP and 62:17 K:BB across 71.2 innings overall. He remains at a 5-2 record heading into next week's projected road start versus the White Sox.

Eight-inning win Berrios (5-2) earned an eight-inning win against the Tigers on Friday, allowing one run on five hits while striking out five and walking one.
Impact Berrios picked up a dominant win against a floundering Tigers offense on Friday, his second win in a row. The eight-inning performance lowered his ERA to 4.73, the lowest it has been since April 30. The righty has had a disappointing season to this point, but perhaps his last two games signal that he is turning things around.

Fans career-high 13 Berrios (4-2) gave up two earned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out a career-high 13 batters Saturday against the Twins. He picked up the win.
Impact This was Berrios' best start of the season and one of the best starts of his career. It comes on the heels of him giving up six earned runs in 2.1 innings against the Angels, so it's possible fantasy managers benched him ahead of this start. He got eight whiffs with his curveball and another eight with his sinker, as both pitches got whiffs over 60 percent of the time in this one. Berrios averaged 94.3 mph with his fourseam fastball, up from 93.8 mph on the season. He lines up to face the Tigers in Detroit next weekend.

Struggles in short start Berrios allowed six runs on six hits and a walk with one strikeout in 2.1 innings, taking a no-decision versus the Angels on Sunday.
Impact Berrios had posted quality starts in his last two games, but he had no such fortune Sunday. Shohei Ohtani took him deep in his first two at-bats, and Berrios didn't complete three innings in the back-and-forth contest. The right-hander has had his ups and downs this year with a 5.62 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 36:14 K:BB across 49.2 innings in his 10 starts. He's now given up nine homers, so he'll be hoping to keep the ball in the yard better next weekend against the Twins.

Settles for no-decision Monday Berrios didn't factor into the decision in Monday's 7-3 extra-inning loss to the Cardinals, allowing three runs on seven hits over 6.1 innings. He struck out seven without walking...
Impact The right-hander pounded the zone in his second straight quality start and fourth of the season, tossing 71 of 102 pitches for strikes. The seven whiffs were also a season high for Berrios, and since stumbling out of the gate in early April he has a 3.86 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 30:8 K:BB through his last seven outings and 42 innings.

Earns win after seven scoreless Berrios (3-2) got the win Tuesday after pitching seven scoreless innings, giving up six hits and two walks while striking out four versus the Mariners.
Impact Berrios was very effective Tuesday, allowing only one baserunner to reach third in the outing. After two consecutive clunkers where he combined to surrender 11 runs in 10 innings, the right-hander registered his third quality start of the year while also picking up victory number three. Berrios was still unable to strike out many batters and is now at a 6.15 K/9 on the year, which represents a career-low. His season-long stats stand at a 4.83 ERA and 1.49 WHIP with 28 punchouts over 41 innings in eight starts.

Surrenders five runs in loss Berrios (2-2) was charged with the loss Wednesday against the Yankees after giving up five runs on five hits with four strikeouts and one walk across 5.1 innings.
Impact The right-hander allowed only one single across the first three frames, but Gleyber Torres struck with a three-run homer during the fourth inning. Berrios was lifted during the sixth with one out and two runners in scoring position, and Torres again delivered with a two-run single. It's the second consecutive loss for Berrios, and he's given up 11 runs between the two outings. He'll attempt to right the ship his next time through the rotation, which currently lines up for early next week versus Seattle.

Roughed up in Cleveland Berrios (2-1) allowed six earned runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out none across 4.2 innings to take the loss Thursday against Cleveland.
Impact Berrios began his outing with two scoreless innings but surrendered at least one earned run in each of his final three frames. He allowed a two-run home run to Steven Kwan in the third inning and has now allowed at least one long ball in four of his six starts. After a bumpy start to the campaign, Berrios had allowed only four earned runs across his last 18.2 frames. However, Thursday's poor outing jumped his ERA to 5.34 on the season, and he has a subpar 20:10 K:BB across 28.2 innings.

Snags second win Berrios (2-0) gave up one earned run over 5.2 innings and picked up the win in Saturday's 2-1 victory over the Astros. He allowed seven hits and posted a 5:2 K:BB in the contest.
Impact The Blue Jays did not give Berrios many runs to work with, and he allowed nine runners to reach base against him. However, when it was all said and done he wound up with his second win of the season. His next start is tentatively scheduled for later next week against the Guardians.

Fades late in no-decision Berrios didn't factor into the decision in Monday's 6-2 win over the Red Sox, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk over seven-plus innings. He struck out four.
Impact The former Twin delivered his second straight quality start on 89 pitches (60 strikes), but Berrios nearly came away with his second win of the year as well -- he blanked Boston for seven innings before giving up back-to-back singles to begin the eighth, then had to watch Adam Cimber let both inherited runners come around to score, tying the game at 2-2. Berrios' ratios haven't quite dug their way out of the hole he created Opening Day, but over his last three outings he has a 3.00 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 15:5 K:BB through 18 innings.

Nabs first win in quality start Berrios (1-0) picked up the win in Wednesday's 6-1 victory over the Red Sox, giving up one run on eight hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out six.
Impact Boston got to him for a run in the first inning, but Berrios settled in after that and cruised to the win after Toronto erupted for five runs in the second frame. The right-hander tossed 68 of 96 pitches for strikes in his first quality start of the season, and while his ratios remain shaky due to his brutal outing Opening Day, he has a 3.27 ERA and 11:4 K:BB through 11 innings over his last two starts.
