Blanks Detroit in fourth win Cantillo (4-1) earned the win Thursday over the Tigers, allowing three hits and three walks while striking out six across 5.2 scoreless innings.
Impact It's the third win in four starts for Cantillo, who's posted a 2.05 ERA in that span. The left-hander's lowered his ERA to 3.05 on the season with a 1.32 WHIP and 51:27 K:BB across 11 starts (56 innings). Cantillo will look to keep rolling in his next outing, currently lined up for next week at home against the Nationals.

No-decision against Cincinnati Cantillo did not factor into the decision of Saturday's game against the Reds. He allowed four runs on four hits and four walks while striking out four across five innings.
Impact Cantillo yielded a solo home run to Dane Myers in the third inning before giving up another three runs in the fifth, two of which were courtesy of a bases-loaded double by Spencer Steer. Luckily for Cantillo, he avoided the loss after the Guardians rallied to score five runs from the sixth to eighth innings. It was the second time this season that the 26-year-old southpaw gave up four runs in a start, and he now sits at a 3.40 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 45:24 K:BB across 50.1 innings. Cantillo's next start is slated for next week against the Tigers in Detroit.

Silences Halos in victory Cantillo (3-1) earned the win over the Angels on Monday, allowing five hits and issuing no walks while striking out four batters over six scoreless innings.
Impact Three of the five hits Cantillo allowed came in the sixth frame, but he managed to escape that inning without a run on his ledger. The southpaw threw 63 of 93 pitches for strikes and got 14 whiffs while notching his second quality start of the campaign. Cantillo has now surrendered two or fewer runs in in seven of his nine starts, though this was the first time he's held an opponent scoreless in an outing. He's been a solid fantasy asset, posting a 2.98 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 41:20 K:BB through 45.1 innings.

Earns second win of 2026 Cantillo (2-1) earned the win against the Royals on Wednesday, allowing one run on three hits and three walks while striking out one batter across five innings.
Impact Cantillo found himself in trouble both in the second and third innings, but he managed to limit the damage to one run on a Salvador Perez sacrifice fly in the third. It was by no means a blistering performance out of Cantillo, but it was fourth time this season that he gave up just one run (in eight starts). He'll bring a 3.43 ERA and 1.37 WHIP (across 39.1 innings) into his next start, which is slated for next week at home against the Angels.

Takes no-decision in short outing Cantillo allowed four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out two over four innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Friday.
Impact Cantillo got off to a rough start, giving up a two-run home run to Brent Rooker in the first inning. Things didn't get much better for Cantillo after that, and he departed the game after 69 pitches (40 strikes), falling short of the five-inning mark for the third time in seven outings this season. He's now allowed five homers over his last four games. The southpaw is at a 3.67 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 36:16 K:BB over 34.1 innings, showcasing strikeout upside and mid-rotation potential despite some occasional inconsistency. His next start is projected to be on the road versus the Royals.

Stuck with first loss Cantillo (1-1) took the loss Saturday as the Guardians were downed 5-3 by the Blue Jays, giving up three runs on six hits and a walk over five-plus innings. He struck out four.
Impact The left-hander held Toronto scoreless for three innings before getting tagged for a solo shot by Kazuma Okamoto in the fourth, but Cantillo ran out of gas in the sixth, putting the first two batters aboard before getting the hook after 89 pitches (60 strikes) and watching both come around to score. Cantillo has completed six innings just once this season in six trips to the mound as he continues to have trouble staying effective deeper into games, and he'll take a 3.56 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 34:13 K:BB through 30.1 innings into his next outing, which is set to come on the road next weekend against the A's.

Falls apart after strong opening Cantillo did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Orioles, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits and three walks while striking out six over 4.2 innings.
Impact Cantillo was in control early, holding Baltimore to just two hits through four innings, but unraveled in the fifth. He allowed the first two batters to reach before Taylor Ward launched a three-run homer to left, and additional traffic forced his exit before he could complete the inning. The rough frame was an outlier compared to his strong start to the season, where he fanned 24 across 20.2 innings. Despite the stumble, Cantillo still owns a 3.20 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and a 30:12 K:BB across 25.1 innings and is lined up to face Toronto in his next outing.

Posts quality start in no-decision Cantillo did not factor into the decision Tuesday against the Cardinals, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings.
Impact Cantillo gave up a solo homer to Ivan Herrera after opening the game with a strikeout, and JJ Wetherholt also took him deep in the third, but the left-hander settled in nicely from there. He finished his outing with three scoreless frames and gave Cleveland his first quality start of the season. Cantillo has quietly been one of the more consistent starters early this season, allowing two or fewer runs in all four of his outings while piling up 24 strikeouts across 20.2 innings. The 26-year-old will look to keep rolling in his next scheduled start at home against a dangerous Baltimore lineup that ranks near the top of the league in several offensive categories.

Fans nine in first win of year Cantillo (1-0) picked up the win in Wednesday's 10-2 rout of the Royals, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out nine.
Impact The southpaw dominated over 88 pitches (54 strikes), racking up 32 called or swinging strikes along the way. Cantillo fell just short of his first quality start of 2026, but he's had an impressive beginning to the campaign, posting a 2.45 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 20:7 K:BB through 14.2 innings over three outings. He'll look to keep rolling in his next trip to the mound, which is set to come on the road early next week in St. Louis.
