Back in action Wednesday Walsh (chest) was activated from the 10-day injured list Wednesday and is starting at first base against the Blue Jays, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Impact Walsh landed on the shelf in late July with an intercostal strain and will rejoin the lineup Wednesday after sitting out the past couple weeks. The 28-year-old has a .266/.320/.516 slash line with 22 homers, 23 doubles and 67 RBI through 97 games, though he was in a 3-for-25 stretch prior to suffering the injury.

Impact Walsh was initially expected back for one of the games in Tuesday's doubleheader, but he'll have to wait at least another day to rejoin the Angels. He went 7-for-40 with two RBI in 10 games between the All-Star break and his going on the IL with a right intercostal strain.
