Out with intercostal strain Walsh was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday retroactive to July 27 with a right intercostal strain.

Impact Walsh was held out of Tuesday's contest after exiting Monday's game with what was labeled a side injury, but he'll now be sidelined for at least 10 days after being diagnosed with an intercostal strain. It's unclear how long he's expected to be sidelined, though he'll be eligible to be activated Aug. 6 versus the Dodgers. Phil Gosselin and Matt Thaiss, who was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake, should fill in at first base for the Halos.
