Day off Saturday Walsh will sit Saturday against the Rangers.

Impact Walsh hits the bench against lefty Taylor Hearn, meaning he's now sat against two of the three lefties the Angels have faced thus far this year. He owns a career 58 wRC+ against lefties and a 152 wRC+ against righties, so something close to a true platoon role may be the best way for the Angels to deploy him. Matt Duffy will start at first base in his absence.
