Impact Bazardo has recovered from a strained right lat but will remain in the minors following his activation. He's appeared in two contests this season for the Red Sox, allowing one hit and two walks while fanning three in three scoreless innings.

Impact Bazardo moved his rehab program to the highest rung of the minors after his strained right lat checked out fine following two appearances in the rookie-level Florida Complex League. The 25-year-old faltered in Sunday's appearance, and the Red Sox may want to see the reliever find success over multiple outings at Worcester before he's reinstated from the 60-day injured list.

Impact Despite being shut down since mid-May with a right lat strain, Bazardo has looked strong in his first two outings back from the three-plus-month layoff. Bazardo currently resides on the Red Sox's 60-day injured list, but he'll most likely be optioned to Triple-A Worcester when he's activated at the conclusion of his rehab assignment.
