Impact O'Day had pitched in Thursday's loss to Baltimore and gave up one run on a hit and one walk in one inning. However, he's now dealing with a shoulder injury that will force him to miss time. Right-hander Michael King was recalled from the alternate training site in a corresponding move.

Impact O'Day missed most of the 2019 season with a forearm injury, but he pitched effectively when healthy over the last two seasons in Atlanta, posting a 1.25 ERA and 0.78 WHIP over 21.2 innings across 27 relief appearances. The 38-year-old will now hit free agency following his solid performance over a limited sample.
