Impact Stebbins notes that Arias was lifted from the matchup as a precaution, so it's fair to consider him day-to-day until more information on the injury comes to light. Angel Martinez could be in line for opportunities at shortstop if Arias is forced to sit for a few days.

Daniel Schneemann - Three-hit performance in win Schneemann went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 10-2 victory over Kansas City.
Impact The 28-year-old posted his fourth three-hit game of the season in this contest and notched his 18th double. Schneemann entered Monday mired in a cold spell, slashing .094/.171/.219 in 35 plate appearances over his 10 previous games. He continues to play regularly in a strong-side platoon role, producing a .682 OPS with 11 homers, nine steals, 44 runs scored and 38 RBI across 115 total games.

Brayan Rocchio - Laces three hits in win Rocchio went 3-for-4 with a walk, one RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 10-2 rout of the Royals.
Impact The 24-year-old notched his second three-hit performance of the season, with the first coming July 8 at Houston. Rocchio, who entered the season with a .213 career batting average, has been much improved at the plate since the All-Star break, hitting .272 (43-for-158) with three homers, four steals, 28 RBI and 16 runs scored across 48 contests. Overall, the Venezuelan is now slashing .236/.294/.342 with 40 RBI and 27 runs scored in 317 total plate appearances.

Slade Cecconi - Fires eight blank frames Cecconi (6-6) earned the win Monday against the Royals, allowing one hit and three walks over eight scoreless innings with three strikeouts.
Impact The Cleveland right-hander turned in his second scoreless outing of the season -- with the first coming June 22 against the Athletics -- as he picked up his 10th quality start. This dazzling performance was a welcome sight for Cecconi, who had struggled with a 6.19 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 35:8 K:BB across 52.1 innings in nine post-All-Star break starts. Through 115.1 total frames, the 26-year-old now sports a 4.45 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 94:29 K:BB. He currently lines up to make his next start at home against the White Sox this weekend.

Gabriel Arias - Exits early Monday Arias (undisclosed) exited Monday's contest against the Royals in the sixth inning, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.
Impact Arias struck out to end the fourth inning, ultimately prompting manager Stephen Vogt to come check on him. The infielder remained in the game for the fifth inning, but he did end up leaving the contest prior to the sixth. It's unclear what Arias is dealing with, and more information on his status will likely come in the near future. Angel Martinez replaced Arias in the field for the time being, batting seventh versus Kansas City.

Impact Thomas was expected to make a start in center field at Double-A Akron on Sunday, but he was scratched due to right foot pain.
