Sal Frelick - Requires MRI for knee injury Brewers manager Pat Murphy said after Sunday's 4-0 win over the Cubs that Frelick will undergo an MRI on his left knee, Sophia Minnaert of FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin reports.
Impact Frelick flied out in the second inning and appeared to tweak his knee at one point during the plate appearance. He initially stayed in the game, but the Brewers pulled him from the contest prior to the fourth inning and attributed his early exit to left knee discomfort. The Brewers should have a firmer diagnosis available for Frelick once the results of the MRI are read, but the fact that he required additional testing wouldn't seem to bode well for his chances of being available for Monday's series opener versus the Astros.

Shota Imanaga - MRI on hamstring on tap Cubs manager Craig Counsell said after Sunday's 4-0 loss to the Brewers that Imanaga will undergo an MRI on his strained left hamstring before a determination is made regarding whe...
Impact Imanaga was cruising along nicely during his eighth start of the season before sustaining his injury while attempting to cover first base in the fifth inning. He exited the game and was ultimately dealt his second loss of the season after getting charged with two earned runs on four hits and one walk over his 5.2 frames. Counsell noted that Imanaga doesn't have a history of lower-body muscle strains from which to compare his injury, so the Cubs will send him in for imaging to glean more information about the severity of the hamstring issue. Imanaga tentatively lines up to make his next start against the Mets next weekend.

Daz Cameron - Swipes first bag Cameron went 1-for-2 with a steal, one RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 4-0 victory over the Cubs.
Impact Cameron entered this game as a replacement for Sal Frelick (knee) in the fourth inning. The 28-year-old journeyman made the most of his opportunity, stealing his first major-league base since Sept. 6, 2024 when with the Athletics. The extent of Frelick's injury is unknown that this time; however, Cameron and Jake Bauers would be the most likely candidates to see an increased role if Frelick has to be placed on the injured list.

Freddy Peralta - Nursing groin issue Manager Pat Murphy said Peralta was removed from Sunday's game against the Cubs due to groin soreness, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact Peralta didn't appear visibly injured when he was lifted, but the groin issue does help explain his removal after six scoreless innings and 89 pitches. The right-hander doesn't believe the injury is a serious concern, per McCalvy, so he may be able to stay on schedule and pitch next weekend in Tampa Bay.

Kyle Tucker - Pilfers ninth bag Tucker went 2-for-3 with a walk and a steal in Sunday's 4-0 loss at Milwaukee.
Impact After working a walk against Trevor Megill in the ninth inning, Tucker swiped second base to notch his first stolen base since April 25. The 28-year-old has hit a rough patch lately, batting just .216 (8-for-37) across his last 10 games with two homers, three steals and 7:5 BB:K. However, that stretch has barely dimmed Tucker's incandescent performance, as he's slashing .292/.399/.577 with nine homers and steals apiece across 163 plate appearances.
