Blake Snell Had Fired-Up Message for Critics After No-Hitter in Giants' Win Over Reds Snell threw the 18th no-hitter in Giants history on Friday night.

Fires first career no-no Snell (1-3) issued three walks while allowing no runs in a no-hitter against the Reds on Friday. He struck out 11 in the 3-0 win.

Impact Snell issued a walk in the second inning and two more in the fifth before retiring the last 13 batters he faced. He forced 21 swinging strikes on 114 pitches, including 10 via the curveball. Not only was it his first career no-hitter, but also his first career complete game. Snell is starting to look more like the Cy Young-winning version of himself after a rough start to the year. Since returning from the injured list a second time, he owns a sharp 0.55 ERA with a 41:10 K:BB over 33 innings. In his last two starts alone he's racked up 26 punchouts in 15 frames. Snell will carry a 4.29 ERA into his next outing, which is currently lined up to be in Washington.
