Heston Kjerstad - Demoted to Triple-A The Orioles optioned Kjerstad to Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday.
Impact The 26-year-old was out of the lineup for each of Baltimore's past three games, and he'll head to the minors Tuesday with Cedric Mullins (hamstring) making his return from the injured list. The Orioles have dealt with a number of injuries in the outfield early this season, but Kjerstad was unable to take advantage with a .192/.240/.327 slash line in 167 plate appearances.

Impact Rivera was already being used sparingly and his playing time was set to be cut even more with Jordan Westburg (hamstring) back in the fold. The 28-year-old has been outrighted previously, so he has the ability to elect free agency if he clears waivers again.

Cedric Mullins - Activated by Orioles The Orioles activated Mullins (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.
Impact Mullins has been shelved since late May by a right hamstring strain but has been cleared to return to action after taking live at-bats Sunday. He will be skipping a rehab assignment. Colton Cowser and Jorge Mateo had been handling center field while Mullins was out, but Cowser will move to a corner outfield spot now and Mateo will likely operate mostly in a reserve role.

Jordan Westburg - Reinstated from injured list The Orioles activated Westburg from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.
Impact Westburg is finally ready to rejoin the Orioles' lineup after being sidelined since late April with a left hamstring strain. He looked sharp in eight rehab games with Triple-A Norfolk, going 11-for-28 with a pair of home runs. Westburg will regain his status as the Orioles' everyday third baseman.

Braxton Bragg - Ready to start Friday Bragg is listed as Double-A Chesapeake's scheduled starting pitcher for Friday's game against Harrisburg, Orioles writer Steve Melewski reports.
Impact Bragg had his turn in the Chesapeake rotation skipped last week after he experienced mild right forearm discomfort, but he was never placed on the 7-day injured list. The 24-year-old has apparently responded well to the extra time off and looks on track to take the hill the next time his turn in the rotation comes up, though his workload could be monitored carefully. Through seven appearances (six starts) with Chesapeake this season, Bragg owns a 1.82 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 49:11 K:BB across 34.2 innings.
