NASCAR highlights: Denny Hamlin repeats at Bristol to win Food City 500

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series continues Sunday with the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee.

Ryan Blaney earned pole position with the fastest time in qualifying on Saturday. He was followed by Josh Berry in the No. 4 Ford, while Denny Hamlin's No. 11 Toyota began third. Hamlin won the previous race in Bristol on Sept. 16, 2023.

And it was Hamlin who used a clutch comeback effort to claim his first win of the season on Sunday.
