In the first night of dual-LCS action in the MLB playoffs, the Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Dodgers picked up important wins away from home, and are now in control of their World Series destiny.

The Mariners will leave Toronto with a two-game lead and are now two wins away from ousting the Blue Jays and booking their first-ever trip to the World Series. The Dodgers also stole a game on the road and now lead the Brewers 1-0 with another game in Milwaukee on the schedule for Tuesday.
