Impact Kim's best round of the week came on Friday when he posted a 10-under 62 at the Nicklaus Tournament Course. The only thing that kept him from challenging Jon Rahm and Davis Thompson for the win were the four bogeys he made over the final 27 holes. His missed cut last week at Waialae featured his worst two-round putting performance as a pro, but Kim looked a lot more locked in on these greens in the desert. This is now his fifth top-11 finish in his last six starts worldwide, which doesn't even include his Shriners Open win. Kim isn't in the field for the Farmers Insurance Open.
