Second top 10 of season in Houston
Day finished in a share of sixth place at the Texas Children's Houston Open following a two-under 68 in the final round.
Impact
Day had a very strong week in Houston highlighted by his seven-under 63 in the second round. It was his second top-10 finish of the season (T2 at The American Express). This showing was a little out of nowhere after he had missed the cut at Riviera and Bay Hill then followed with a T59 at TPC Sawgrass. Day was sixth in SG: Putting and eighth in GIR percentage for the week at Memorial Park. He will not make another start before The Masters where he finished T8 a season ago.

MC at The Genesis
Day carded a three-over 74 on Friday in the second round of the Genesis Invitational to miss the cut by five shots.
Impact
Day's performance was surprising given that this was his first missed cut on the season. Day opened his week with a two-over par 73, thanks to his relatively inconsistent iron play, which saw him hit only 10 of 18 greens and lose more than two strokes against the field in SG: Approach. His Friday didn't get much better. Not only did Day continue to struggle with his irons, but Day lost control off the tee as well, ranking 69th among all competitors. There was no mention of any injury to Day, so we can possibly chalk this week up as a blip on a relatively successful start to the season. Day will look to turn it around in his next start as the PGA Tour schedule turns to the Florida swing.

Sixth in SG: Putting at AT&T Pro-Am
Day closed with a four-under 68 on Sunday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to finish 14-under and tied for 24th.
Impact
Day posted three consecutive four-under 68s in Rounds 2-4 at Pebble Beach to ultimately collect his 15th career top-25 result at the venue, despite losing 3.6 strokes on approach this past week. He particularly excelled with the flat stick, ranking sixth among the AT&T Pro-Am field in SG: Putting on the way to just six total bogeys across 72 holes. The Aussie will tee it up again this week at Riviera Country Club where he notched back-to-back ninth-place finishes in 2023 and 2024.

Disappointing T38 finish
Day had to settle for a share of 38th place at the Farmers Insurance Open after shooting an even-par 72 on Sunday.
Impact
Day was one of the most popular OAD and DFS plays this week after coming off a T2 finish in Palm Springs and given his very strong record at Torrey Pines. He was unable to deliver that kind of value this week, unfortunately, as Day really struggled with the driver. He was 58th in SG: Off-the-Tee and T59 in driving accuracy. That said, Day was still 12th in SG: Approach and T7 in GIR's. The Aussie won't be in the field for the WM Phoenix Open next week, but should return the following week at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, another event he has a very strong record at.

Shoots 64 on Sunday to finish T2
Day fired an eight-under 64 on Sunday to finish in a tie for second place at The American Express.
Impact
It was a pretty vintage performance from the former World No. 1 on Sunday as he carded eight birdies and no bogeys to surge up the leaderboard 18 positions into T2. He never really had a chance to win with Scottie Scheffler running away from the field on the back-nine, but this will certainly give the veteran some confidence going forward. Day led the field in both SG: Around-the-Green and SG: Putting in the two measured rounds at the Stadium Course. He will look to carry that into next week's Farmers Insurance Open where he owns two victories among seven top-10s.

T20 in Utah
Day fired a six-under 65 on Sunday at the Bank of Utah Championship to finish 12-under and tied for 20th.
Impact
Day racked up eight birdies and an eagle throughout Sunday's final round, in which he gained 1.92 strokes with his irons and another 2.2 strokes around the greens. He ultimately finished the week ranked second among the field in SG: ARG, though Day converted just seven of 16 total scrambling opportunities and he lost 2.7 strokes off the tee. Nonetheless, Day has placed top-25 in back-to-back starts dating to the BMW Championship.
