Impact Just two hours before the Players Championship, Day withdrew from the upcoming big tournament, with his spot taken by Danny Walker. It is unclear how long Day's relatively sudden illness will take to subside, but March continues to be a rough month for him, especially after he struggled in the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Impact We know about how good Day's putting and short game are, but he did have a very strong week with the irons. Day ranked seventh in SG: Approach and T8 in GIR's. This was a big improvement over a T40 finish at The Sentry and continues some of the good form he showed towards the back end of last season. Day always seems to show up on the West Coast Swing and he will now head to Torrey Pines where he is a two-time winner and have five-other top-10 finishes in his career.
