Climbs to share of fifth at LIV UK Burmester finished tied with Jon Rahm for fifth at LIV Golf UK following a five-under 66 final round. Impact Nobody could catch up to eventual winner Joaquin Niemann on Championship Sunday, so Burmester and the rest of the field were competing for second best. Burmester had a fair shot of a podium finish after carding five birdies from holes eight to 14, but a bogey on the par-3 17th dropped him down to a share of fifth. It was the South African's third top-5 finish of the season (the first since LIV Golf Hong Kong in March) and a nice bounce-back effort after finishing 51st in Andalucia. He sits eighth in the individual standings with 77.25 points heading into LIV Golf Chicago, where he finished T42 in 2024.
