Impact Steele earned his first top-10 finish of the LIV Golf season after going six-under par over the final two days of the tournament. He ranked T8 in both driving accuracy and GIR and in the top-20 in putts per hole. It was Steele's best performance at a LIV tournament since his victory in Adelaide in April of 2024. He'll be in the field for LIV Golf South Africa next week.

Fades relegation from LIV league Steele scored a five-under 66 in the final round at LIV Golf Indianapolis to finish tied for 17th and end the regular season 45th in the individual standings with 9.36 points.

Impact Steele entered Indianapolis holding onto the final spot above the relegation Drop Zone. Things didn't look good for the American after a one-under opening round, but he ended strongly with back-to-back five-under scores to earn two points, giving him more than enough cushion to avoid relegation. Steele hasn't been that impressive at LIV tournaments over the past two seasons, outside of his victory in Adelaide in 2024. He'll join his HyFlyers teammates of Cameron Tringale, the relegated Andy Ogletree and captain Phil Mickelson at the LIV Golf Team Championship in Michigan this weekend.
