No. 24 Utah hands No. 17 Cincinnati its first Big 12 loss

Devon Dampier threw for 213 yards and two touchdowns to lead No. 24 Utah to a 45-14 victory over No. 17 Cincinnati, snapping the Bearcats’ seven-game winning streak

Mana Carvalho - Punt return TD against Cincy Carvalho recorded a punt return touchdown during Saturday's 45-14 win versus Cincinnati.
Impact Carvalho, a true freshman receiver, recorded his first touchdown with the Utes on a punt return. Utah dominated Cincinnati, handing the Bearcats their first conference loss of the season. Utah will be on a bye next week before playing at Baylor in Week 12.

Creed Whittemore - Records first TD with Utes Whittemore recorded a 11-yard touchdown catch on two targets during Saturday's 45-14 win over Cincinnati.
Impact Whittemore, a Mississippi State transfer, recorded his first touchdown with the Utes. It was just his third catch with the team this season, all three catches occurring over the last two games. Utah is on a bye next week before playing at Baylor.

Dallen Bentley - Seven targets against Cincinnati Bentley tallied two catches (on seven targets) for 14 yards during Saturday's 45-14 win versus Cincinnati.
Impact Bentley extended his streak of games with at least four targets to seven games, however, he's had just two catches in three of his last four games. The good news is that QB Devon Dampier is back from an ankle injury and Bentley remains a legitimate option in the Utes' offensive gameplan. Utah is on a bye next week before playing at Baylor.

Ryan Davis - Big game versus Cincy Davis tallied eight catches (on nine targets) for 132 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 45-14 victory over Cincinnati.
Impact Davis had his best game of the season against Cincinnati as his starting QB Devon Dampier returned from an ankle injury. It was his second 100-yard receiving game of the year and he was able to add his fourth touchdown of the season. The speedy receiver has at least nine targets in four of nine games this year. He's clearly Utah's number one option in the passing game and should be an impact player when the Utes play at Baylor in Week 12.

NaQuari Rogers - Reaches paydirt against Cincy Rogers totaled eight rushes for 20 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 45-14 win versus Cincinnati.
Impact Rogers reached paydirt for the eighth time this season despite being the secondary back for the Utes. Teammate Wayshawn Parker recorded his second consecutive 100-yard rushing performance and has emerged as the primary back out of the backfield. Rogers still has a role with the team, however, is averaging just 5.7 carries per game over his last three games. Utah will be on a bye next week before playing at Baylor.

Byrd Ficklin - Adds fourth quarter TD Ficklin rushed for 14 yards and a touchdown on four carries during Saturday's 45-14 win over Cincinnati.
Impact Ficklin received some playing time in the fourth quarter as the Utes blew out the Bearcats. The back-up QB was able to record his fifth rushing score of the season. He has a rushing score in three of the last four games. Utah will be on a bye next week before playing at Baylor.

Wayshawn Parker - Logs second 100-yard game Parker totaled 17 carries for 104 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 45-14 victory against Cincinnati.
Impact Parker logged his second consecutive 100-yard rushing game as he has established himself as the primary running back for the Utes. Even with the dual-threat QB Devon Dampier returning from an injury, he was able to provide significant value. His touchdown run came on a direct snap. Parker is electric with the ball and has seven total touchdowns on the season, more than the five total scores he had at Washington State last year. Utah is on a bye next week before playing at Baylor.

Devon Dampier - Returns with dominant win Dampier was 16-for-31 passing for 213 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 45-14 win against Cincinnati. He also had 14 rushes for 78 yards.
Impact Dampier returned from an ankle injury to hand Cincinnati their first conference loss in a dominant fashion. He threw multiple touchdown passes for the sixth time this season and recorded double-digit carries in his sixth straight game. The high-volume carries is a good sign that he's fully healthy and able to provide the Utes with his game-breaking ability. The playmakers around him are playing well too, so all of the arrows are pointing up as Utah goes to play at Baylor after an upcoming bye week.

Having him back would represent a boost in terms of depth for the Utes, but it's worth noting that the wideout hasn't exactly been productive this season. Merriweather has eight catches for 130 yards on 25 targets so far.
