Christian Moss - Tallies five catches
Moss caught five passes for 54 yards against Indiana on Saturday.
Impact
This is a nice turnaround for Moss, even if the numbers don't wow. In the opener for KSU, Moss was targeted three times, but didn't have a catch. In this one he was the only Owl with more than two receptions.

Lyndon Ravare - Nets 72 yards
Ravare had two catches for 72 yards against Indiana on Saturday, but he also lost a fumble.
Impact
Both of Ravare's catches went for over 30 yards, which certainly pops. That being said, he also had two catches in the first game of the season, and two catches per game isn't going to cut it unless every catch is of the big-play variety.

Coleman Bennett - Rushes for 34 yards
Bennett ran five times for 34 yards against Indiana on Saturday.
Impact
Bennett should feel comfortable he is the number-one guy for the Owls now. In week one he had 17 carries, which he turned into 66 yards and a score. Though Bennett only got five carries in this one, the Hoosiers had iced the game before the third quarter was even over. He averaged 6.8 yards per carry against a defense way more talented than his team's offense, and more talented than any defense he will see the rest of the way.

Semaj Parker - Out for Week 2
Parker (undisclosed) is out for Saturday's game at Indiana.
Impact
Unfortunately for Parker, Week 1 saw him not log any counting stats. Even worse, he will be unable to record any for Week 2. Parker will have to wait even further for his first FBS counting stats this year.

Coleman Bennett - Rushes for TD
Bennett ran 17 times for 66 yards and a score against Wake Forest on Friday.
Impact
Bennett spend a few solid seasons with Bucknell, but last season at Rice he found no room for opportunity. That led to the move to KSU, where he seems to be the lead back. Averaging 3.9 yards per carry against the Demon Deacons isn't exactly exciting, but he did nothing to hurt his standing with the team.

Dexter Williams II - Iffy in KSU debut
Williams went 12-for-33 for 149 yards and ran 14 times for 44 yards Friday against Wake Forest.
Impact
Kennesaw State is trying to get in gear in its second season as an FBS team, and part of that was bringing Williams in. He played sparingly at Indiana, and then at Georgia Southern. Wake is an ACC team, but not a terribly imposing one, so this performance is concerning.

Lyndon Ravare - Listed as co-starter
Ravare is listed as a co-starter on Kennesaw State's initial two-deep of the 2025 season.
Impact
Ravare shares his starting spot with fellow receiver Jordan Jackson on the Owls' initial two-deep. The Fresno State transfer caught four passes for 22 yards with the Bulldogs last fall, but he's poised for a career year in 2025.

Coleman Bennett - Listed as starter for Owls
Bennett is listed as the starting running back for Kennesaw State on the Owls' Week 1 depth chart.
Impact
Bennett tried his hand at the FBS level last fall after spending three years with Bucknell. He transferred to Rice, but hardly ever appeared in game action and logged just two carries for 28 yards and a score. He's apparently earned the starting tailback job for Kennesaw State, and should lead the backfield for the Owls when they travel to play Wake Forest on Friday night.

Dexter Williams II - Will be starting QB for Week 1
Williams will be Kennesaw State's starting quarterback at Wake Forest on Aug. 29, Pete Thamel of ESPN reports.
Impact
Ideally for Kennesaw State, the team has finally found at least some stability quarterback-wise. After all, 2024 saw KSU struggle following a litany of QB changes. Williams bring at least a bit of promising experience from Georgia Southern. With the Sun Belt team, he logged 19 completions for 248 yards and three passing touchdowns.

Ravare has committed to joining Kennesaw State for the 2025 season, the team announced.
Impact
