Dexter Williams II - Will split time with Odom Williams and fellow Owls' quarterback Amari Odom are both expected to play Saturday against Merrimack, per Kai Millette of The Sentinel.
Impact Williams is off to a rough start for Kennesaw State in 2025. In the opener, he tossed for 149 yards on just 36.4 percent completion, failing to find the end zone and coughing up a ball that the Owls ultimately recovered. In Week 2, he started the game 1-of-2 passing for -1 yards, and head coach Jerry Mack had seen enough, inserting Amari Odom into the game. Against an FCS opponent in Week 3, Mack has elected to play both gunslingers as he tries to solve his QB puzzle as quick as possible.

He averaged 6.8 yards per carry against a defense way more talented than his team's offense, and more talented than any defense he will see the rest of the way.

Impact Unfortunately for Parker, Week 1 saw him not log any counting stats. Even worse, he will be unable to record any for Week 2. Parker will have to wait even further for his first FBS counting stats this year.

Impact Bennett spend a few solid seasons with Bucknell, but last season at Rice he found no room for opportunity. That led to the move to KSU, where he seems to be the lead back. Averaging 3.9 yards per carry against the Demon Deacons isn't exactly exciting, but he did nothing to hurt his standing with the team.

Dexter Williams II - Iffy in KSU debut Williams went 12-for-33 for 149 yards and ran 14 times for 44 yards Friday against Wake Forest.
Impact Kennesaw State is trying to get in gear in its second season as an FBS team, and part of that was bringing Williams in. He played sparingly at Indiana, and then at Georgia Southern. Wake is an ACC team, but not a terribly imposing one, so this performance is concerning.
