Impact Allen once again formed the Nittany Lions' top rushing duo alongside fellow true freshman Nicholas Singleton (21 carries, 87 yards, one touchdown), as running back Devyn Ford left the Penn State football program Saturday. While sophomore rusher Keyvone Lee (10 rushes, 40 yards) did return from an undisclosed injury in Week 5, the two freshmen still accounted for over two-thirds of their team's rushing attempts. While Allen and Singleton did combine for three lost fumbles in Saturday's rainy win, the two appear to have cemented themselves as the clear top two backs moving forward.

Impact Allen finished as the Nittany Lions' second-leading rusher behind fellow true freshman Nicholas Singleton (10 carries, 124 yards, two touchdowns) during the team's massive rushing win Saturday. Penn State employed a committee-style approach between these two first-year backs and junior Devyn Ford (seven carries, 37 yards) to engineer 245 total yards on the ground against the Tigers' traditionally sound defensive front seven. Allen and Singleton currently sit as the team's top two leading rushers with 23 and 30 rushes, respectively, through the first three games of the 2022 season, and this duo should have another opportunity to put up strong statistical performances this coming Saturday against Central Michigan.
