Impact Egbuka logged a team high in receptions during this brilliant performance from Buckeyes quarterback C.J. Stroud (23-for-34 passing, 348 yards, four touchdowns). The sophomore slot receiver hauled in a 10-yard touchdown on a well-drawn-up play early in the third quarter, crossing the field behind the line of scrimmage before catching a wide-open pass in the flats. However, this wound up being Ohio State's final touchdown of the game, and the team was outscored 18-6 by the Bulldogs over the remainder of the game. Egbuka also caught just one of two targets for nine yards after No. 1 wideout Marvin Harrison was forced out with a concussion late in the third quarter. With Ohio State's season now over, Egbuka and Harrison figure to reprise their roles as the team's top wideouts heading into the 2023 season.
