Impact Egbuka finished as the Buckeyes' leading receiver for the second time this season while also finding the end zone for the third-straight week against the Rockets. The sophomore wideout has made the most of his opportunities with No. 1 receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba largely limited over the first two weeks of the season, though the junior did make his return to the field Saturday (two receptions, three targets, 33 yards). Nevertheless, Egbuka just narrowly leads Ohio State's receiving corps in total targets (27) ahead of Marvin Harrison (26 targets) in 2022, and these two could continue to serve as the team's top pass-catching options against Wisconsin on Sept. 24.
