Scores TD in elevated role Mockobee recorded 22 yards and one touchdown over eight carries and caught his lone target for seven yards during Saturday's 32-29 loss to Syracuse.

Impact Mockobee split carries with junior rusher Dylan Downing (10 rushes, 22 yards) as No. 1 running back King Doerue sat out with a calf injury during the Boilermakers' narrow loss Saturday. The redshirt sophomore did manage to notch Purdue's lone rushing score against the Orange, running in a 15-yard touchdown with less than one minute remaining in the first quarter. Mockobee didn't make much of an impact outside of this rushing touchdown, and he will likely revert back to a minimal reserve role should Doerue eventually return at some point this season.
