Impact Mockobee was kept under 25 total yards for the second week in a row to end the season. The junior running back's production significantly suffered as the Boilermakers tumbled to a 1-11 final record this season. He finished the year with career-lows in rushing attempts and yards as well as catches and receiving yards. Mockobee should have one year of college eligibility left heading into this offseason.

Scores despite modest stat line Mockobee logged nine rushes for 14 yards and one touchdown and gathered in 4 of 8 targets for 47 yards during Friday's 24-17 loss to Michigan State.

Impact The Boilermakers fell behind 24-3 by the end of the first half and finished negative rushing yards as a team. This game script combined with an already struggling Purdue rushing game led to another rather limited outing for Mockobee. Nevertheless, the junior running back still found his way into the end zone, capping off a 10-play 73-yard drive with a two-yard score in the third quarter. He also recorded season-highs as a receiver as quarterback Hudson Card threw a season-high 47 passes for 342 yards. Mockobee has now totaled 141 touches across 11 games this season; however, with just one game left versus Indiana, he'll more than likely finish with career-lows in yards, touches and scores this season.

Tallies 40 yards in loss Mockobee posted 11 rushes for 40 yards during Saturday's 49-10 defeat to Penn State.

Impact Mockobee didn't have much impact on the game other than a nice 17-yard rushing attempt. The junior running back has now accrued 188 rushing yards on 44 carries over the last four games. With no more than 13 carries in all but one game this season, Mockobee's ceiling will likely remain limited over the final two games on the road against Michigan State and Indiana.

Impact Mockobee logged over 11 carries for the first time since Week 5, and he logged over 50 rushing yards for the second time in the last six games. The junior running back has seen his overall workload take a hit this season, but he's remained surprisingly productive during the Boilermakers' conference slate, averaging 13.0 touches for 75.2 total yards per game. He did this once again despite facing a harsh Buckeyes' defense Week 11, and he'll have to do the same in order to log another productive performance this coming Saturday versus Penn State.

Scores in OT loss Mockobee had 10 rushes for 29 yards and one touchdown and hauled in one of two targets for 13 yards during Saturday's 26-20 overtime loss versus Northwestern.

Impact Mockobee once again barley crossed the double-digit carry threshold, as he's now logged between 10 to 13 carries in each of Purdue's five Big Ten games. The junior running back also found paydirt for the third time this season when he rushed for a one-yard score to tie the game in the fourth quarter. Mockobee has now averaged 4.8 yards per carry over the last five contests, and he's logged eight catches and one receiving touchdown during this span. He'll have to overcome some significant adversity to find the end zone again during next week's road game at Ohio State.

NOVEMBER 4 • ROTOWIRE

Logs 46 rushing yards Friday Mockobee recorded 10 carries for 46 yards and caught 1 of 2 targets for 18 yards during Friday's 35-0 defeat to Oregon.

Impact Mockobee was almost completely hemmed in aside from a 20-yard carry during Friday's loss. The junior running back once again logged fewer carries than quarterback Ryan Browne, who rushed 14 times in his second career start while Hudson Card (concussion) remained out. Meanwhile, No. 2 running back Reggie Love finished with an uncharacteristically-high 11 carries. This could very well have been because of this game getting away from Purdue early in the second quarter. Over the last three games, Mockobee has totaled 32 carries to Love's 18. Assuming Mockobee remains the clear RB1, he could be in line for a more productive outing during next week's home game versus Northwestern.

Impact Mockobee scored two touchdowns in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter, first plunging into the end zone for a two-yard rushing score followed by a 13-yard touchdown reception. Purdue momentarily took a three-point lead after the junior running back's second score before ultimately falling after one-round of overtime play. Mockobee has been the most consistent piece of the Boilermakers' lackluster offense, which took off in the second half with backup quarterback Ryan Browne. The redshirt freshman quarterback also finished with a team-high 118 rushing yards on 17 carries to go along with 297 passing yards. Mockobee only has 71 carries this season, though he's tallied double-digit rushing attempts in all but one game. He'll likely be relied upon once again even if starting quarterback Hudson Card (concussion) returns for next week's matchup against Oregon, which was ranked No.1 in the AP Poll following Saturday's action.

Impact Mockobee fell below 15 touches and 70 total yards for the third time in the last four weeks. The junior running back is still one of the more reliable skill players in what's been an extremely disappointing offense for the Boilermakers this season. But, he's logged just one through five games, and this unit's lack of success likely won't lead to many more scoring opportunities for Mockobee anytime soon. Prudue will be on the road for the second week in a row this coming Saturday at Illinois.

Totals 55 yards in loss Mockobee notched 13 carries for 41 yards and gathered in his only target for 14 yards during Saturday's 28-10 loss versus Nebraska.

Impact Mockobee flopped after his 168-yard performance agianst Oregon State last week. The 207-pound junior continued to split carries with Illinois transfer Reggie Love, who logged exactly 10 carries for the third week in a row. Mockobee's been a vital piece of the Boilermakers' offense over the last three seasons, though it's unknown how/if his role will change after offensive coordinator Graham Harrell was let go by the team Sunday. The Boilermakers' offense will look to bounce back next week against a Wisconsin defense that has allowed 4.43 yards per carry so far this season.

OCTOBER 1 • ROTOWIRE

Logs 168 yards on the ground Week 4 Mockobee accrued 16 carries for 168 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-21 loss against Oregon State.

Impact Mockobee carried the ball on four consecutive plays to open the game before fumbling at Oregon State's 11-yard line. The junior running back recovered with a season-high in rushing yards and carries, including three rushes of 26 or more yards. Mockobee also logged his first touchdown of the season with a three-yard rushing score midway through the fourth quarter. Yet, he still split duties of the backfield with Illinois transfer Regge Love, who tallied 10 carries for 66 yards and a touchdown as well. Purdue's offense has struggled mightily since rattling off 49 points in the seaosn opener against Indiana State. Both the rushing and the passing game will likely continue to struggle this coming Saturday against Nebraska, which has been one of the Big Ten's best defenses so far this season.

Stacked up in lopsided defeat Mockobee logged nine rushes for 19 yards and gathered in his only target for three yards during Saturday's 66-7 loss to Notre Dame.

Impact Mockobee was caught up in this dominant performance for Notre Dame's defense which allowed an avearge of 1.5 yards across 25 rushing attempts for Purdue. The junior quarterback is expected to be the top running back for the Boilermakers after totaling 1,775 rushing yards over the past two seasons. However, he split carries Saturday with Illinois transfer Reggie Love, who logged 10 rushes for 61 yards. Mockobee and Love look like they'll probably be set for a lightning-and-thunder duo out of the backfield this season, so Purdue's rushing game will have to make some significant strides if either running back is going to have much fantasy value during upcoming conference play. The Boilermakers will look to bounce back next Saturday against an Oregon State defense that just gave up 240 rushing yards versus Oregon in Week 3.

Highly efficient in blowout win Mockobee accrued 11 rushes for 89 yards and hauled in both of his targets for five yards during Saturday's 49-0 victory over Indiana State.

Impact Mockobee rolled right along with the rest of the Boilermakers' offense, as quarterback Hudson Card also went 24-for-25 passing for 273 yards and four touchdowns Saturday. While neither enjoyed massive statistical seasons last year, these two were easily the most productive returning offensive skill players for the Boilermakers, and they should be the most reliable pieces of this offense moving forward this season. However, Illinois transfer running back Reggie Love III also logged seven carries for 38 yards, including a six-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter. If the 215-pound Love continues to see carries in the red zone, then it could significantly limit Mockobee's fantasy ceiling moving forward this year.

Impact Mockobee put together a solid statline on the day, totaling 98 yards from scrimmage while adding a score on the ground as well. Despite Mockobee splitting time with fellow running back Tyrone Tracy, it appears the Purdue offense is capable of supporting two relevant fantasy backs. The redshirt sophomore will hope to put together another productive outing against rival Indiana in the Boilermakers' season finale on Saturday.

With starting quarterback Aidan O'Connell and top receivers Charlie Jones and Payne Durham all opting out to prepare for the 2023 NFL Draft, the Tigers' talented defense had its way with every facet of the Boilermakers' shorthanded offense. As a result, Mockobee finished his breakout 2022 campaign with 195 carries for 968 yards and nine touchdowns to go along with 32 receptions (on 44 targets) for 274 yards over 13 games. The former walk-on's strong performance with Week 1 starter King Doerue (undisclosed) sidelined for almost the entire season should make Mockobee the front-runner for the No. 1 running back job heading into the 2023 campaign.
