The junior running back's production significantly suffered as the Boilermakers tumbled to a 1-11 final record this season. He finished the year with career-lows in rushing attempts and yards as well as catches and receiving yards. Mockobee should have one year of college eligibility left heading into this offseason.

Impact The Boilermakers fell behind 24-3 by the end of the first half and finished negative rushing yards as a team. This game script combined with an already struggling Purdue rushing game led to another rather limited outing for Mockobee. Nevertheless, the junior running back still found his way into the end zone, capping off a 10-play 73-yard drive with a two-yard score in the third quarter. He also recorded season-highs as a receiver as quarterback Hudson Card threw a season-high 47 passes for 342 yards. Mockobee has now totaled 141 touches across 11 games this season; however, with just one game left versus Indiana, he'll more than likely finish with career-lows in yards, touches and scores this season.

The junior running back also found paydirt for the third time this season when he rushed for a one-yard score to tie the game in the fourth quarter. Mockobee has now averaged 4.8 yards per carry over the last five contests, and he's logged eight catches and one receiving touchdown during this span. He'll have to overcome some significant adversity to find the end zone again during next week's road game at Ohio State.

Impact Mockobee was almost completely hemmed in aside from a 20-yard carry during Friday's loss. The junior running back once again logged fewer carries than quarterback Ryan Browne, who rushed 14 times in his second career start while Hudson Card (concussion) remained out. Meanwhile, No. 2 running back Reggie Love finished with an uncharacteristically-high 11 carries. This could very well have been because of this game getting away from Purdue early in the second quarter. Over the last three games, Mockobee has totaled 32 carries to Love's 18. Assuming Mockobee remains the clear RB1, he could be in line for a more productive outing during next week's home game versus Northwestern.

Impact Mockobee flopped after his 168-yard performance agianst Oregon State last week. The 207-pound junior continued to split carries with Illinois transfer Reggie Love, who logged exactly 10 carries for the third week in a row. Mockobee's been a vital piece of the Boilermakers' offense over the last three seasons, though it's unknown how/if his role will change after offensive coordinator Graham Harrell was let go by the team Sunday. The Boilermakers' offense will look to bounce back next week against a Wisconsin defense that has allowed 4.43 yards per carry so far this season.

Impact Mockobee carried the ball on four consecutive plays to open the game before fumbling at Oregon State's 11-yard line. The junior running back recovered with a season-high in rushing yards and carries, including three rushes of 26 or more yards. Mockobee also logged his first touchdown of the season with a three-yard rushing score midway through the fourth quarter. Impact Mockobee was caught up in this dominant performance for Notre Dame's defense which allowed an avearge of 1.5 yards across 25 rushing attempts for Purdue. The junior quarterback is expected to be the top running back for the Boilermakers after totaling 1,775 rushing yards over the past two seasons. Mockobee and Love look like they'll probably be set for a lightning-and-thunder duo out of the backfield this season, so Purdue's rushing game will have to make some significant strides if either running back is going to have much fantasy value during upcoming conference play. The Boilermakers will look to bounce back next Saturday against an Oregon State defense that just gave up 240 rushing yards versus Oregon in Week 3.

Impact Mockobee rolled right along with the rest of the Boilermakers' offense, as quarterback Hudson Card also went 24-for-25 passing for 273 yards and four touchdowns Saturday. While neither enjoyed massive statistical seasons last year, these two were easily the most productive returning offensive skill players for the Boilermakers, and they should be the most reliable pieces of this offense moving forward this season. However, Illinois transfer running back Reggie Love III also logged seven carries for 38 yards, including a six-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter. If the 215-pound Love continues to see carries in the red zone, then it could significantly limit Mockobee's fantasy ceiling moving forward this year.
