Mediocre finish to 2023 Cook was 11-for-18 passing for 128 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 14-3 win over Ohio State. He also had 19 rushes for 66 yards.

Impact Cook didn't really hurt the Tigers on offense with his efforts and found some running room as well, turning in a season-best effort on the ground, but he didn't really carry the offense either, posting his two lowest passing yardage totals in the final two games. He's presumably still set to return to Columbia next fall as the starter and should have some star wideouts at his disposal again in Luther Burden and Theo Wease.
