Anthony Carrie - Rushes for score Carrie ran the ball eight times for 49 yards and a touchdown versus Bethune-Cookman on Friday. He also caught three passes for 33 yards.
Impact Three Panthers got at least eight carries in this game. While Carrie did the least on the ground of the three, he was the only one to do anything through the air, which is to his credit.

Devonte Lyons - Finds the end zone Lyons ran eight times for 54 yards and a score Friday against Bethune-Cookman.
Impact Last year Lyons ran the ball 43 times for 288 yards and two touchdowns in three games, allowing him to redshirt on the season. He got limited work here, but Lyons clearly popped, and there was no reason to lean too hard on anybody in an easy win for FIU against an FCS team,

Kejon Owens - Scores twice in season opener Owens ran 11 times for 71 yards and two touchdowns Friday versus Bethune-Cookman.
Impact Yes, it was against an FCS team, but Owens scored twice and averaged 6.5 yards per carry in the season opener. That's encouraging for Owens' chances of being the lead back for FIU after decided not to transfer with a new head coach arriving this offseason.

Keyone Jenkins - Rushes for two TDs Jenkins went 18-for-29 for 187 yards against Bethune-Cookman on Friday. While he only ran for three yards, he scored two rushing touchdowns.
Impact Jenkins broke through last year in his sophomore season, but he then lost his head coach. After flirting with the portal he decided to return to FIU, and he won the starting job. This isn't the best performance, but he did grab a couple rushing scores which is nice. Next time around, though, Jenkins has to face Penn State.

Kyle McNeal - Listed as starter McNeal is listed as a starter for Friday's game against Bethune-Cookman, Kevin Barral of Sports Illustrated reports.
Impact McNeal redshirted Florida International's 2024 season, delaying his freshman season until 2025. By being one of FIU's primary wideouts, he could establish himself as a top FBS freshman this year.
