Impact Carrigan has overtaken Pauly Paulicap as Isaiah Cottrell's top backup this season. Carrigan and Cottrell have actually seen very similar minutes over the last couple weeks, but neither really has that much standalone fantasy value unless WVU were to have some injuries in the frontcourt.

Impact Cottrell has now started every game this season. Despite that, the sophomore really has a pretty limited ceiling fantasy-wise given that he is seeing just 15.6 minutes per contest.

Matthew Mayer - Decent line in win over WVU Mayer closed with nine points (4-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-4 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal across 23 minutes during Monday's 81-77 win over West Virginia.
Impact Mayer's seven rebounds tied a season high. Over the last six games the senior is putting up 12.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.2 steals, and 2.0 three-pointers per contest. Jeremy Sochan's emergence may cut into Mayer's minutes going forward. Kansas will be next up on Saturday.

Jeremy Sochan - Nears double-double in win Sochan finished with 13 points (5-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-8 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and two steals over 31 minutes during Monday's 81-77 victory over West Virginia.
Impact Sochan appears back to full strength after missing four games with an ankle injury. Over the last two games, the freshman forward is averaging 15.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals. If he keeps playing like this, coach Scott Drew won't have a choice but to keep giving Sochan big minutes.

James Akinjo - Huge bounce-back game Monday Akinjo accumulated 25 points (7-17 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 7-8 FT), two rebounds, four assists and one steal over 38 minutes during Monday's 81-77 win over West Virginia.
Impact After struggling over the last couple weeks with a minor injury, Akinjo was able to breakout for a big game against the Mountaineers. His 25 points was his second highest scoring output of the season. The stud senior will be tested again on Saturday when Kansas comes to Waco.

Gabe Osabuohien - Plays 27 minutes off bench Osabuohien recorded four points (1-5 FG, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 27 minutes during Monday's 81-77 loss to Baylor.
Impact Osabuohien's 27 minutes were his second highest total in a game this season. The senior is a bit undersized, but is a really strong defender. This season he is averaging 5.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game. Texas Tech is next up on Saturday.
