Tounde Yessoufou - Season-lows against Texas Tech Yessoufou chipped in nine points (4-14 FG, 1-7 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and four steals in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 92-73 loss to Texas Tech.

Impact Yessoufou was coming off games of 23 and 20 points against Oklahoma State and Kansas, respectively, but the freshman finally met his match against the Red Raiders, recording single-digit scoring for the first time all season (18 games). He did manage to avoid any turnovers and pick up four steals, but his rebounding effort was also his lowest mark of the year. Yessoufou will look to bounce back in a home matchup Saturday against TCU.

Impact It's been a bit of a tough start to Big 12 play for Rataj, who averaged 10.4 ppg and 6.6 rpg over the first 12 games of the season but is posting just 6.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in three conference games. Granted, the opponents have been some of the top teams in the league, but two of those games have been at home, and Baylor is on a three-game losing streak nonetheless. The Bears will need to rally soon to stay on the fringes of the NCAA Tournament conversation, and that starts with a road matchup Tuesday at Oklahoma State.

Impact Yessoufou finished non-conference action with back-to-back 28-point games, but the scoring has trailed off in league play, as he's averaged 10.3 ppg in three Big 12 games, and the Bears have came away with an 0-3 record. Granted, those losses have came against some of the best the Big 12 has to offer, but the risk of hitting that freshman wall is still a concern. The freshman and projected first-round NBA Draft pick will look to bounce back Tuesday at Oklahoma State.
