Impact Ball tied for a team-high 17 points in Tuesday's win, but he shot under 50 percent from the field in his sixth straight game. He also hit a trio of three-pointers for the third time this season and the first time since Nov. 10. Through eight games this season Ball is averaging nearly identical numbers to what he had last season with the main exception being a significant dip in three-point percentage, down to 26.8 percent from 41.4 last season. He will look to get in rhthym Friday versus Texas A&M-Commerce.

Impact Ball and the Huskies faced another difficult challenge Wednesday, this time falling just short to No. 4 ranked Arizona. Ball finished with a solid 14 points, but he did it on 14 shots. He made just one of his eight three-point shots, bringing him to a measly nine of 34 through five games this season (26.5 percent). Given that he shot 41.4 percent last season on the same number of attempts per game, it's likely he'll get out of this shooting slump soon.

Impact Ball started his season off fairly well Monday as he scored 18 points in the opener, the second most on the team. Although he did not shoot the ball particularly well, he made up for it by hitting all seven of his free throw attempts. He played well on the defensive end too, blocking two shots and securing one steal in his 33 minutes of playing time. He is set to be one of the Huskies' most important players once again this season.
