Men's College Basketball Rankings: Houston, Virginia Climb, Arizona Still on Top

Men's College Basketball Rankings: Houston, Virginia Climb, Arizona Still on Top

Solo Ball - Struggling with outside shot Ball notched 10 points (3-10 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT) and three rebounds across 32 minutes during Saturday's 64-62 win over Georgetown.

Impact Ball has averaged 11.5 ppg across six games since returning from a mid-December wrist injury, but his three-point shooting has suffered. He's shooting just 20.7 percent from distance over that stretch and only 27.5 percent on the season (compared to 41.4 percent a season ago). If the junior can get that aspect of his game back on track, it would provide a bit boost to the Huskies, who already sit atop the Big East.

Tarris Reed Jr. - Bringing defensive heat Reed accumulated 15 points (5-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist, three blocks and three steals in 29 minutes during Saturday's 64-62 victory over Georgetown.

Impact Reed was able to lead the Huskies in scoring and pick up his first double-double since Dec. 21. After battling injuries during non-conference play, the 6-11 senior has really put things together of late, especially on the defensive end. Since the calendar turned to 2026, Reed is averaging 2.2 bpg across five contests. Next up is a showdown against Villanova on Saturday.
