Impact Sandfort kicked off the season with just three points in a blowout win over West Georgia, but he bounced back with a performance versus FIU that was a breath of fresh air. The junior transfer scored a team-leading 20 points, and he also did so shooting 63.6 percent from the field. The 6-foot-7 forward looks like he'll be a sizable contributor for the Cornhuskers this campaign. He'll have another shot to shine against Maryland-Eastern Shore this Tuesday.

The 6-foot 7 wing has great size and clearly has a knack for taking matters into his own hands scoring-wise. If Frager can develop into a potent scoring threat off the bench immediately, that's great news for Nebraska.

Impact Mast wasn't the best from a scoring perspective, but held down the paint with 11 rebounds as Nebraska topped West Georgia to open the 2025-2026 campaign. The fifth-year senior is set to be a big factor for the Cornhuskers this season, but after his first year in Lincoln yielded a productive yet inefficient season (43 percent shooting from the field), it's something of an inauspicious start for Mast to struggle from the field like he did. Still, it's the first game in what Nebraska is hoping is a long season.
