Impact Murphy had himself a solid end to the 2024-2025 season, putting up 10 points and four boards in a narrow loss to a Baylor team with NBA talent. This was a career year for the forward, who averaged 11.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 blocks despite starting just three games.

RJ Melendez - Limited impact Melendez chipped in six points (2-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 21 minutes during Friday's 75-72 loss to Baylor.

Impact Melendez was cold from downtown, and inefficient from the field overall as he offered just six points in the loss. The wing had a streaky senior season with the Bulldogs, and his career is likely over after the first round NCAA Tournament exit.

Impact Hubbard's 26 points were the third straight game he'd hit at least 24 points, but it wasn't enough to topple Baylor. The 26-spot is a shiny total, but the point guard also turned the ball over five times while dishing out just two assists. Hubbard hasn't been a big rebounder all season, but he didn't pull down a single board against the Bears. After two dynamic seasons in Starkville, it'll be interesting to see if Hubbard stays with the Bulldogs or goes the transfer portal route in search of an NIL paycheck.
